Great experience!
We are a family of 4 and recently went to La Fortuna and Tamarindo. We worked with CR Traveling tours to book all of our accommodations, tours and transfers. They did an amazing job of providing lots of options based on our interests and budget. They were super responsive and provided a detailed itinerary once we booked. While we were on the trip, we got daily reminders of what was coming the next day - super helpful! We loved our trip. The guides, tour companies, and drivers they booked were great. Fantastic Experience!
We had an incredible experience working with Amanda at CR Traveling! From the very beginning, she provided exceptional customer service and was always responsive, professional, and genuinely helpful. Amanda found us the best deals, and every travel partner she arranged—from transportation to excursions—was outstanding. One thing we especially appreciated was her flexibility. We decided to book some of our excursions after we arrived so we could plan around the weather, and Amanda was incredibly helpful in recommending the best days and making everything happen seamlessly. I can't say enough about Amanda's professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to making sure our trip was perfect. She truly went above and beyond, and thanks to her, we had an amazing vacation. I want to start by thanking Amanda for all her help. She is truly knowledgeable in what she is doing. Amanda answered every single one of my questions and guided me in the right direction. She sent me a couple of itineraries with quotes and was very flexible when changes needed to be made. Amanda found us some quotes for vehicle rental agencies. We picked Solid and we did not have any issues, service was great. When I had questions about cell phone lines, Amanda gave me some great suggestions. I was very surprised by how easy airport pick up was in San Jose. Amanda was great at planning everything and helping us along the travel journey. She had the best excursions for us and it was such a breeze to get to them with their transportation. I 10/10 recommend them. Great service, great excursions, great advice. Very responsive . Best time!
We had the best experience! We can’t wait to go back to Costa Rica! Amanda, was so helpful. We were traveling with our two daughters who are 12 and 14 and she helped with excursions, hotels etc. During our entire time we were there Amanda was in contact with us. I highly recommend CR Traveling Tours by Amanda. I first used Amanda to plan a trip to Costa Rica in 2023, and the experience was so exceptional that I didn't hesitate to use her again for my June 2026 trip. She provided the same outstanding level of service both times. For our most recent trip, we spent three weeks in Costa Rica with three of our grandchildren, and Amanda made everything run smoothly. She did an amazing job planning every detail while still giving us the flexibility to make changes along the way. Amanda was always available through WhatsApp to answer questions—day or night, even on weekends—which gave us tremendous peace of mind. Knowing she was only a message away made it feel like we had a trusted local friend in Costa Rica looking out for us. What impressed me most was that she was just as helpful with accommodations we chose on our own—places we had stayed before and wanted to return to—even though she didn't earn a commission on those bookings. She truly put our experience ahead of everything else. Every evening she sent us our itinerary for the next day, and every morning she followed up with a reminder. She also provided Google Maps directions for everything, making it incredibly easy to get where we needed to go. When we decided we wanted to add a few activities at the last minute, Amanda handled those spur-of-the-moment additions without missing a beat. Throughout our trip she checked in regularly to make sure we were enjoying our tours and accommodations and to see if there was anything we needed. Her attention to detail allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation instead of worrying about logistics. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, responsive, organized, and genuinely cares about her clients, Amanda is the person to call. Whether it's your first trip to Costa Rica or a return visit, she'll make the experience seamless and stress-free. The fact that I trusted Amanda to plan a second Costa Rica vacation three years after my first says everything. Amazing tour operator
My daughter and I went to Costa Rica for a girls trip as a graduation gift before she begins university in the fall. Amanda was recommended to me through a friend. We booked two excursions with her and both were incredible. Her communication and level of professionalism were top notch and she was always there to help or answer questions. When my daughter left her favourite hoodie on the catamaran, I messaged Amanda and she was able to get the tour operator to deliver it to our hotel! Incredible service. Great customer service. Prompt response time.
I contacted her based on positive reviews from others on a Facebook group for traveling to Costa Rica. She has been very helpful, and gone above and beyond, with excellent customer service. Such as responding to messages late afternoon, early evening on the weekends. Going out of her way to help me tip a tour guide, that I didn’t get a chance to tip in person, but truly wanted to. She helped us get a very good price for a Mistico Hanging Bridges Tour, that we enjoyed thoroughly, as we were introduced to so much interesting wildlife and plants by our guides. Fantastic trip
Our trip was so fun and seamless. Amanda booked our hotels, transportation, and all the excursions. She worked with me on tweaking our trip to exactly what we wanted. Amanda is a trusted travel advisor for an active vacation!
Typically, I plan all of our family adventures but soon realized that in order for us to have the Costa Rican adventure we wanted, I’d need some help. I booked our hotels and Amanda booked our van transfers and excursions based off of our customized itinerary in Tamarindo, La Fortuna, Paquera and Liberia. Our nature guides were knowledgeable, drivers were punctual and even when there was an enormous sinkhole that pushed back our schedule, our driver Victor still got us to the activity on time!
